Classes Available

Baby Ballet
Our Baby Ballet classes are aimed at children age 18months+ – 4years. These classes have an emphasis on creativity, expression and fun. We use props to explore different types of dance and characters using our imagination. Our 30 minutes class will keep them engaged and excited.
     

Ballet
Once children start school, they enter our syllabus base classes in ballet. At LSV we follow the ISTD syllabus which is recognised world-wide. Our pre-primary class builds on our early learning in Baby Ballet, where we explore movement through creativity, imagination and storytelling. This class is perfect for reception age children to start to build the foundations of ballet
     

Tap
Tap Dance is an exciting, percussive, rhythmical dance form. The dancer uses their feet to strike the floor, beating out a melody, with tap shoes which have small metal plates on the toe and heel to give the distinctive sound. Tap dance is a theatrical art form often seen on screen and stage in musicals.
     

Modern
Primary modern- Our Primary Modern class is great for child with lot of energy, creativity, and a desire to perform. Our energetic classes follow the ISTD syllabus and teach the basics of rhythm, musicality, expression, and performance. Our students thrive in this fun, fast paced class.

Our grade one modern class is perfect for those who have progressed through our primary modern class or who are joining us from year 2 This class follow the ISTD syllabus where we build of the foundations previously learnt. A focus on rhythm, musicality, performance and technique this class is high energy and students have the option to work towards their exam.

Progressing on through the grades two and upwards modern class students build on the technique already learnt. The syllabus covers more complex dance steps and combinations, challenging our young dancers. This class is full of energy and fun whilst continuing to develop rhythm, performance, artistry and technique.
     

Street
Street dance informal style of dancing with energetic movements, Dance was that it was the dance of young people. It offered opportunities for creative expression, gave a sense of freedom and a 'voice' to unrepresented and often invisible communities through the means of music and dance.
